The sheepfold

Below the Grand Baraud, a flight of steps descends along a wall, leading to a courtyard bordered on the left by two beautiful stone arches and on the other two sides by the old sheepfold, long and narrow, which today houses an 80m² gîte.

Floored with red terracotta tiles and beautifully furnished in the old style, this romantic little house – you would think it came straight out of a fairy tale – opens to the east onto a small veranda extended by two private terraces. The first is shady, the second largely exposed to the sun. Both are set back, out of sight, both offer a superb view overlooking a private garden with trees and the scrubland. Out of season, a pretty open fireplace warms the charming little living room. An internal staircase leads to a small laundry room and two adjoining bedrooms, the last of which opens onto the outside. Downstairs, a pretty, very bright bathroom and separate toilet.

The occupants of the three gîtes of Mas de Baraud share the use of a beautiful swimming pool with a paddling pool perfectly suited to games for very young children and its solarium equipped with comfortable deckchairs. At the end of the access road, a large parking area allows for maneuvering.
